Thanks for all your help Carl. I tried two different betas, (turns out they were both .509's from around June) and that didn't do it. :/ looks like I'm facing an ECM with an internal issue. Oh well, it's just money.

I owe both you and Ed one. Lemme know if you ever need anything.

    a few questions and ideas:

    1. Where is your IAT located? intake or boost side. What kind of FI setup is this? PD? If the IAT is located in the manifold is it close to one of the intake ports?

    2. try logging GM VE, just to confirm the WE table value is looking up correctly. This is a very common OS for Holdens and there would be hundreds of blown cars using this OS in Australia alone so i doubt it's a software issue.

    3. Have you tried enabling LTFT's?

    4. I assume the lean periods on the O2's is where the problem is. eg. 5905-5930?

    5. To me it definately looks like some kind of closed loop fuel problem, the STFT's are pulling it slowly lean, then slowly rich, then finally it starts to oscillate. When you are hitting the gas, it is in the going slowly lean phase and stumbles.

    6. If you disable closed loop is it ok?

    Chris,

    1. This is an MP1900 Magnacharger making 12 psi. It is a positive displacement supercharger. The IAT sensor is reading inside the lower plenum (boost side) it is set inbetween cylinder 2 and 4 intake ports. It was making about 8.5-9 psi before the injector and pulley change shown here.

    2. I know. I'm starting to think something happened to the ECM itself as I've tried everything I can think of.

    3. I can do that but it changes absolutely nothing.

    4. On my cell phone so I'm not too sure but you can clearly see the difference in INJPW response time before the WOT hit and then after as I continually burp the throttle.

    5. Again not too sure, but I can tell you that no matter when I hit the throttle the issue is present. (You can hear the intake make a quick suction noise, but the exhaust sounds like you just killed the engine)

    6. No, Forced OL doesn't change a thing.

I'm sure you read but I'm still puzzled about the fact that the car acts just like it should until you kill and restart it after a fresh write.

Thanks for lending some thoughts here. It's greatly appreciated.

ok i looked again and there's definately an issue with the way the cylinder airmass starts to step at a very slow rate, it should be moving very fast not stepping like that.

After frame 5170 in the log it turns to crap. You'll see that before that it is changing very rapidly, then it get into some weird thing.

    This is absolutely the problem.

    Try logging the PIDs:
    - GM Volumetric Efficiency
    - MAF Sensor State
    - Air Calc Mode

Thanks again Chris. I'll get on that ASAP. Log will be up tomorrow as I'm currently in the shop installing a TH400 into a friends turbo Camaro, and am soon to finish that and then reinstall the 4L80E in my truck. big yay.
