Why don't they just leave those download links posted permanently in our member area? I can think of a hundred reasons to leave them, vs no reason why they can't leave them.

Something must be good on the horizon! There hasn't been a beta update in about two weeks. 2.23.808 has been the current for quite awhile. Normally betas last for about two days.
