I have just reciceved my HP Tuners and I am tring to flash a previous calibration into the VCM. I have already pulled the original programming and downloaded the correct tune from the respository. My question is, can I copy the calibration from the downloaded file and place it into the original programming pulled from the truck? WOuld it be easier to just license the download file, change the VIN the calibration properties and flash the file to the VCM?

What I am tring to do is to remove the GM Engine managment update that eliminated busy transmission shifting. The original configuration would allow the transmission to shift into 5th gear at 40-45MPH, with the updated engine config, the trans will not shift out of 4th till 50MPH and will not lock the TCC til about 60MPH. This new config has cut the MPG is half.
