tuning ve is it ok to force 14.7 afr in the scanner and log the WB

can i just force 14.7 afr in the afr control section in hpt scanner, log the wideband and use that as a tuning reference? just that way you wouldnt have to worry about turning pe and cruise lean off, or ltft or stft

    is the right?

    or am i missing something?

    cheers

No, set PE to a constant value (.85 lambda for NA or .75 for FI) and tune VE/MAF as you do in Stoich. Never force the AFR!!!!!!

Steady state data is the secret.
