i have an ERL 454 with WCCH Edelbrock 245cc heads. i have changed to a more aggresive cam and now i am having trouble nailing down the idle. it has a 500 rpm surge and hard hot start. all these problems were not there with the old cam.
old cam: 242/242 .605/.605 114LSA +2
new cam: 251/267 .624/.624 115LSA
any help is welcome

Airflow and timing (assuming fuel is correct). More airflow will help most if I had to guess.
