Restart to remove low power mode.

I still have a high MAP reading problem, discussed to death on here, sorry about that, I am going to get a new ECU. Anyway, I find that when you start this thing from cold, it will start with low power mode, but shows no DTC codes, is probably because of the high MAP input. But, if I shut it off and then restart it right away the low power mode is gone and will accept the throttle without reduction. Just wondering why this is, seems strange to me.

there is a PID you can log called "Reduced Engine Power" it might give some assistance into what is causing the REP. High MAP shouldn't cause it.

you might need a newer beta version. Email support for access.

Thanks for the Beta upgrade. I looked for the Reduced power mode PID but still did not find it in the new 2.23.796 Beta version. Could anyone steer me to it somehow?

Reduced power mode, Reduced motor power, sounds like the same thing, either one is not in the latest beta version. A screenshot of where you found it maybe?

It's an LS1 with an E40 ECU and 90mm ETC, in an aircraft. Standard LS2 intake and sensors.

ok the E40 doesn't have the REP PID, only E38.

Hmm. I don't know what the load should be on this, it has a constant load from the propeller, at 1700 rpm I see 40% or so, but who knows, that would be higher than a car would have it at steady state. The MAP problem is there before the motor even runs, I got it down to 290 Kpa with key on, engine off, so it's still screwed up, but I am at the point that I think it's the ECU itself. Other sensors seem to be ok, if I disconnect the MAP it runs nice with MAF only, just has poor throttle response. I never get a problem with the TAC but for the first start it has the REP thing, shut it off and restart and it is all happy. Wierd.
