    De-Fueling

I have been working on a fairly large tune for my 06 LBZ, and cannot get it to stop de fueling between full throtle shifts. I have my torque tables maxed at WOT and fueling it over 4000rpm and shifting between 3800-4k. Any ideas? I really need it to turn up as high as I can for truck pulling, but CANNOT have it fall on its face to shift.

Well I think I might have just anwsered my own question. In Trans Diag. I raised the CMD Gear RPM's. I'll test it tomorrow to see if that fixed it... Fingers crossed!

This tune is nowhere near stock tranny safe, and EGT will easily go over 1600 when held open in higher RPM.

Just made it work... Do not raise fuel rate MM3... Only PW. Just shifted 1-2-3 at 4100 burning the tires without missing a beat.

You could also command the shift sooner - lower speed.

50-60% more PW up top and just a small increase in torque based fuel.

50-60% pulsewidth is huge... and I mean huge. I would dial that back some as my truck is able to make 520 rwhp with only 35% increase...

Did you increase torque based fuel quantity?

There is a table to adjust de-fueling. It has to do with maximum allowed torque reduction if I recall. I can look later when I get home if you still cant find it.

Yes please find that table. The only one i can think of that you may be talking about is the PEAK TORQUE.

Sorry for the late reply. If you havent figured this out yet, here is where you need to go:
    transmission>torque management>torque reduction request>DC Max = [enter new value]

Assuming you wanted to limit defueling to 20% compared to the stock limit of 90%, you wound enter a max value of 20%.
