Headers install - LS1 Need Help

I have a 2002 WS6 with a stock LS1 motor w/6 speed. It runs good as it is. I am about to install a set of 1-7/8 Texas Speed & Performance headers with their off road Y pipe.(no cats) deleting seconary o2 sensors.
Magna Flow Cat back. 3" (all the way back)
Stock lid with K&N lid filter.
Stock TB & MAF w/screen taken out
    Stock injectors.
smooth bellows from Home Depot Pumping
Ram air hood (all baffles are ripped out)
    160 degree tstat
    3.73 gears (12 Bolt)
    Everything else stock for now.

I have HPtuner Pro & I am very new to it. I have changed the Gearing & tire size. That was pretty easy.
I been watching Greg Banish dvd. I understand the maps somewhat.

I am removing the Cats. I don’t understand how to delete the 2nd O2 sensors. Could somebody email mail a tune that i can start with?
It looks like i need to get a wide band o2 sensor for my tuner.
I understand the wide wand O2 sensor is more accurate, but I still don't understand how the narrow band o2 sensors can run in your car everyday, but you can't tune with these sensor readings?
Does anybody have a car with similar mods? Just to get me started?

Using HP Tuners click on ENGINE DIAG, then click on the DTC's tab (far right) and then scroll down to everything that has to do with "HO2S . . . .Sensor 2" and unclick the check box under the "SES Enable" column. This will include P0137 through P0147 and P0157 through P0167. For these same items click "3 - No Error Reported" under the last column labelled "Error Mode".

you should put screen back in TB; it actually results in more accurate measurement and does no restrict throughput capacity. I recommend changing your PE vs RPM across the entire table to about 1.13 which will lean out your power enrichment mode without risking going to lean. On a stock motor I have run this as low as 1.10 across the entire table. You will be able to get better performance out of the motor by increasing timing a couple of degrees in the corrrect places. I would need to look at your tuning file to recommend exactly where though.

This is my current tune with Gears & tires size changed.
Anything you can do to help would be appriated. I am going to port the manifold side of the thottle body. Does any body have any pictures of what it should look like?
    Thanks,

    Header Install LS-1

I posted my tune. I really appreciate you checking this out for me.
Do you know how to enable the nitrous oxide time table & where it is? What pin you use & how to?
What the good nitrous kit to get?
    Thanks,
    Scot

there is not a timing table for nitrous to my knowledge. More like a different tune. You can make as many different tunes you want and just flash em.

    nitrous timing chart

I was told in 2002 WS6's they have a timing chart. When pin i think 28 goes to ground the nitrous timing sets back the timing.
Could they be using the low octane timing table?
Or is there a complete different table.

How about you learn to tune the NA motor first and then move on to nitrous. The reason you need a wideband is because the stock narrowband sensors are only accurate at stoich.

when tuning your timing for nitrous, just copy and paste your low octane table in place of the high octane, then highlight all, subtract 2 degrees from both tables. That's good for a 150 shot

    Air Pump

I disconnected the air pump & piping while installing my headers. Where do you disable the pump & what is it going to do with the tune?

Its on the general tab set the enable temp to something you will never see. Delete the codes and drive on. The air pump only runs for the first couple mins before the pcm goes closed loop.
