Thinking of buying, have questions on credits

Right now I am using the old hp tuners that came with two vehicles, purchased in 2004.

If I get the new VCM Suite with the included 8 credits will I be able to tune a 2002 Camaro SS, 2001 Camaro Z28, 1998 S10,and 2000 S10 all with the 8 included credits?

Right now I can tune an unlimited amount of 2002 ls1 camaro's. Will I still be able to do this or does the new VCM Suite lock each credit(s) to each individual vehicle via the VIN?

The license are saved on the interface so you buy a new one you have to use credits to relicense what you have or use the old interface with cars you have already done
My setup is a 356ci with a 260/268 (212/218 at .050 lift) duration cam with aluminium corvette heads and flat top pistons running 11.3 comp. ratio. with tuned port injection and vortec crank pick up and dizzy running a 411 pcm and 60lb bosch injectors, 1.6 ratio roller rockers. For transmission its a 4l65e built with the monster in a box mega ss kit. All in a 92 chevy ext cab 4x4 pickup with a 98 cab now installed with a third door! running only e85

No, I have the old serial interface thats no longer supported. So I'm starting from scratch here.

I basically want to know if I can tune four vehicles with a brand new VCM Suite. I'm just confused about single vehicle vs year/model.

I'm guessing I can tune 4 single vehicles with the included 8 credits right?

After that I have to buy more credits to tune, say, my friends car thats just like mine.
If I want to tune all of my friends cars (for example) I'd be better off using points for the year/model? (if they were all 2002 ls1 cars).

Correct. As long as all single vehicles you have are 2
