e40 tune locking still not possible?

after reading what happened to this camaro guy http://jalopnik.com/5949701/driver-r...ing-his-camaro, I thought it might be a good idea (just in case I'll ever need to bring my car to the dealer) to give it to them with kind of a 'crippled' locked tune/
now when I go to 'calibration details', everything's greyed out....
I found this thread here, but that was already 5½ years ago/

Try putting rpm cutoff to 2000 in all gears - worked for me. Loaded that tune in their parking lot.

I have already an 'autoshop' tune, but I just thought, what if they think I'm just a smartass , reflash it with a tech2 & then beat the sh*t out of the car?
that's why I want the tune to be locked/

We haven't looking into adding tunerlocking for these pcm's(nor most pcm's that we support to be completely honest), its not always a simple task.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I thought something was wrong with my software, but tunerlock feature is always greyed out fort he E40 and E67s.

I would especially like to lock the E67s as they are mostly forced induction applications and I don't want someone

messing with a tune on a FI car after I've tuned it?

Do we think this will ever be available???

    Thanks
