starts and dies after 2bar OS upgrade

this one puzzles me a bit, 06 2bar OS (just use 1 bar section though) and it starts at first turn but dies like if somebody switched fuel pump off.

when it runs AF values in mid 13's, same ingnition tables and same injectors.

switching back to stock OS and it stays running.

can anybody find something goofy in my file?

Is the MAF still connected? your MAF table is all zeros, I think I read somewhere that you have to have some values in this table for start up, although your MAF fail high is set to zero the ECU doesnt fail the MAF instantly on start up, it takes a short period of time.

disconnected, tried it with populated célls and without - no difference.

and I never see the MAF to fail, connected or not connected. Fires right away and dies

as soon as Ã* put it back to stock OS it runs

uses stock values for 1 bar MAP 94.32 / 10.44 offset. They are allright and MAP values in scanner are correct. I am only running 1 bar SD for a ITB system (like many times before)

if I fail MAF on stock OS it runs and I immediately see MAF go to failure, if I write entire 2bar OS it never goes into failure mode it seems.

Your VE is way too low, compare to a 2005 LS2 for something to get you started.

I have used VE multiplied up to 1.8 iin 0.1 steps, no change at all. These are the values I used in a 08 car with excatly same mods which runs fine

Is a 06 PCM using the same weird high values like a 05 E40 and not something like 07 E38's?

    /Thread.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

OK, done now it runs with some 2005+ values.

but, it seems unresponsive to any changes to VE table as it always runs lean with around 15-20% AFR error. If I add fuel, wideband does not recognise any difference, even if I do it a few times.

f.e. it seems to hover around AFR 15.5 at 3000rpm at part throttle, AFR error about 16%. If I add fuel it does not make a difference, I can add 16% 2 or 3 times AFR stays the same.

runs smoothly though, but always show between 15 and 20% lean. hmmm, ideas?

I am fightning a similar issue on a 2010 camaro SD OS. Car runs fine one time then doesnt want to start and has -20% trims until you turn it off again and start it again. You can add fuel and it wont make a difference but sometimes it will start and run just fine and all trims are +-2%. Havent found a solution yet.

Do you have an IAT sensor installed?

yes I have. I got it to run now quite fine. It is just a very narrow window where it will start which you have to catch.

now it is an issue with TAC drive incompatability.........causing REP
