Pontiac G8 Gt 434 Stroker Won't Power Brake!!!

I have a 08 G8 GT with a 434 stroker. 500+ whp so power is not the problem. When I try to power brake in any of the trans modes(Drive, Sport, or Manual) with the ESP of the car holds at 2000 rpm. I have even tried rolling a little then applying brake and the car stops and straight to 2k it goes.

Is this in the Brake Torque Management?

Would it be alright to disable the torque management all together?

What size stall do you have? Your problem is in the trans settings called Stall Torque Management. Max out those values/turn it off.

Again, stall torque management. It's set at like 1800 from the factory, which simply won't do. It pulls timing/cuts fuel.

If you have a Yank SS3200 about 2000 is all it will stall. Not sure how Yank determines it's ratings but my Yank 3200 doesn't see 3200 rpm in my 08 Corvette until 11 mph after launch.

I have the same Trans tune as my buddy with another G8 and his will power brake. The only thing I see is under the engine torque management tab. The ETC enable/disable and disable by TCS under brake torque management. Could one of these be the culprit?

+1, if setting the TCC TM to max doesn't do it, check the brake torque limit under brake Torque management, you'll find this under engine/torque management/brake torque management/brake torque limit, max the table out.

Holy Shit! Have you looked at your VE table lately ?!?! OMFG!!! And your spark tables? WTF happened there? PE isn't set up right.... It's not in SD mode, PE is delayed till 4,000 rpm even!

Your brake torque limit is set to 98 ft. lbs, it'd be a good idea to set it to 664 or higher since 664 is stock peak limit, not 98.

Dude your tune is total crap. Please tell me you didn't do all this did you?

Your problem is both power and the brake torque limit. And who zero'ed out the minimum spark torque management table vs. rpm? That means no matter what it'll never have torque management during any function.

I would be mad at your tuner for charging you the extra money to convert to 2.5bar SD, and still setting up the car in pure MAF mode. The MAF table is alright but I bet it has transient issues like a bitch.

Oh is this car charcoal gray? Made 521 RWHP or whatever with a relatively small cam?

What's trash? I'll gladly take the car off your hands. My G8 needs a playmate.
