    NW 102mm trouble

Hey guys, I've running a weird probleme with my NW 102 mmm TB.
Yesterday, when I'm tuning the car, (Installing some revision of my current tune in my car)
The car start and stall after the tuning was put in. And then he did'nt want to start again till I'm push the gas pedal.
As soon as I released it he died again.

The car running great with this TB since almost 2 year. The Area scalar was dialed to 7200 since day 1.
Now the only solution that I have found is to lower the Area scalar. I'm now at 5250 and the car is running good again.
The car will almost running as good as before.
Let me know if you got this kind of trouble with the old version of the NW 102mm TB.

    Corvette LS7 2008.

I have reinstalled my stock 2008 90mm, and the car is running great with my current Base running Airflow
model and the 4725 Area scalar... I'm a little confused why this 102mm acting weird like that ...

    Thank you,

    Sebastien

Did you scale the tune or something? Can't see what all is done at the moment since I'm on mobile. Any way you could've picked up a vacuum leak somewhere for some strange reason?

How do you like your NW 102? Is it the new style? I'm throwing one on Gray Ghost here soon.

I had trouble with a NW102 on a blower car I did not long ago. Boost coming in would actually force the blade open. Re-installed the stock 90mm and it regulated tps like a champ. The NW would throw the car in REP everytime you would go into boost.

I'm not sure what ended up being done about it since it was a brand new unit. Such a shame though cause I've had great luck with them up to this point.

NW came out with an updated version of the 102 to correct this exact issue. He also was accepting old ones in return that he'd modify and send back out.

Good. One I just dealt with has to be sent back because it would trip P2101 at WOT on a YSI car.

The guy's car we were using it on was a RHS 436 with LSX-LS7 heads with some love by Brian Tooley running a F1-R on 19-20psi. He's running a stock 90mm for now until they can resolve the NW102 issue.

Some glitch again today. The car run perfectly fine , rpm drop just at the right speed at stop. And suddently in traffic when the light goes red, bang te car shut off as soon as I let off the gas.

Press the pedal to start it again and , the throttle is searching itself goes from 1500 to 200 then 1500 then dies again. It drive like crap and did'nt idle right. I press the gas pedal to idle it. Drive it again about 25 miles , and then suddently all fall inline and the idle and stop and go are like before ....

I'm suspecting that this old version TB acting like crap. Put my old 90mm and all is all right.

Not trying to hi-jack your thread but I'm having start-up trouble with my cammed LS7 that has a FAST 102 & NW 102. The car does not want to start when cold at times without pedal help and it does the same when warm and hot at times. I've tried a bunch of start-up airflow parameters but nothing really helps a bunch.
