Well if it is getting a canned gm tune you really won't be squeezing enough out of it for a custom tune. Unless you go higher octane fuel.
Iirc all I do got those is fix the pe table, adjust the maf, delete traction, and any timing it will accept. The gains were never much but I felt it was alot safer
