    Donate a 6l80e tune

    Having problems with this 6l80e in a 2011 ec z71 with 35's.

Was wondering if anyone had a base tranny tune to get me close.

    I would greatly appreciate it!

Honestly, I tuned mine pretty extensively and didn't like it. Also, I had a weird issue on a 30mph WOT downshift after tweaking the shit times. And if you disable the TM and increase shift pressure, it becomes pretty harsh when shifting with 35's. What i found that helped my truck a lot, is disable all TM, of course re-calibrate everything for the 35's, bump your shift speeds about 200-300rpm at WOT and 2-5mph at part throttle. This helps keep my truck in a good part of the powerband to keep those 35's rolling easily. Also, play with your converter lockup a little. Makes the truck easier to drive in town.

You'd be surprised at the difference just turning off TM makes in the 6L80E's!

In the new 6 speeds, it's pretty much all or nothing with TM.

I reduce the shift torque management by 50% on all A6 trucks. Way too harsh disabled.

I disable the upshift & downshift torque management on the Camaro & Corvette A6 Trans.

I can turn off a percent of Tq management by rpm and Tq no problem, but I am not giving that secret away for free

    Here's one method.

Search for the various torque management calculators / excel spreadsheets on here.

Sure, and if Russ is willing to look at your tune, you should post it. There's more to be had than just TM tweaks and he knows his stuff.
