    New to tuning

I have a tune from a speed shop but i purchased HPT so I can change shift points and timing mostly. Do you change part throttle and full throttle aswell as performance ,hot, cruise, and normal for shifting. And for spark do you change high and low octane. And can you add the retard or advance by entering lets say -2 degrees and it will apply that to highlighted area or do you just change boxes to what ever the -2 degrees equals?

Yes you can change all of those shift tables to however you would like. I would recommend looking in the transmission section or using the search to find a transmission tuning tutorial or how to. That way you have a basic understanding of what all the transmission tables do. Then fine tune to your liking.

For spark, if you are chaning a broad area of the table, I always highlight all the cells i'm changing and use the +, X, or = up top. If you are just changing one cell at a time, you can double click in that cell and change the value to whatever you like. Its all personal preference.
