    5.3 swap, need vss help

    I'm running a turbo 350 and i'm using a dakota digital vss. The computer isn't showing any speed. the vss puts out 8000 ppm and i set the computer for that. What do i need to do???

    Vss must be set in Pulses Per Revolution. A typical automatic has a 40 pulses per revolution Vss, a T56 is 17 pulses

    How many pulses is the dakota vss? I have one lying around, let me check it

    It's 8000 ppm, I think i figured it out, seems to be a wiring issue. Thanks for responding.
