Why wouldn't you start with a 5.3L file?
2003 Chevy Silverado Daily Driver, 408 Iron Block,
LS3 Heads/Intake, 231/239 114, 4L80e, Yank SST 3200.
Because I will have to use credits to purchase it. Ive already spent the credits for the ls1/t56 with 2 bar sd. Whats the best way to go about doing this? Thanks
Hey there. I am just finishing up my first 5.3L/T56 swap. I too started with the '02 tune... I should be able to give you some pretty good advice. First: which intake manifold, injectors and TB are you using?

Great. Using the 02 ls6 intake manifold with 60lb siemens injectors and stock TB. I have the injector tables set using Greg Banish's calibrated for success.
I need some help. Got a ls1 motor in a 2006 silverado. It is tuned for a 4l60 tranny. I have since changed over to a T56 tranny and am having problems.
Truck has problems accelerating and if I deep the accelerator it does not take the fuel.
What must i change in the tune to corret problems associated with the 4l60 to T56 swap?
