    Building a 240. ECM advice

I am building a 95 nissan 240 sx. I am putting a LQ9 from a 2006 Escalade in it. I am going to have a custom harness built. My question is what ECU to use?

That's a discussion that should take place with whoever will build the wiring harness. Also, 2006 Escalade had a different APP / TAC than the 2003 to 2005 models - FYI.

    I have a 6 wire TB. I don't want a TAC.

Sounds like a Gen IV TB - you will need to know its origin for proper ECM calibration.

You are planning on disassembling the engine to install a 58x CKP and 4x CMP - so that you can then use an E38 / E67 and no TAC module ?

    Won't work ...

Lingenfelter converter box is available to go from 58x / 4x to 24x / 1x - but not the reverse. In plain language that converter box can be used on a Gen IV engine with a Gen III controller.

No converter available (that I know of) to use a Gen III engine with a Gen IV controller.

It may be worthwhile for you to speak with a knowledgeable harness builder / tuner - there are many options available.

The guess work approach you have been using inevitably leads to frustration, as well as wasted time and money.
