    Tuning VE... need some help

    I'll start by giving some info on the car. It's a 99 firebird, LS1 forged 347, Vortech g-trim non-aftercooled(but has meth injection), Patriot LQ9 stage 2 heads, Comp cams SC2 224/232 @ .050 114LSA, Siemens Deka 60lbs. injectors, with a T56 trans.
I am currently trying to get the ve table somewhat right and it's not going excatly as planned. I have been messing around with it and I think I'm getting close but as you can see if you look at the first log when I shift or decel I get extreme lean spikes and the exhaust pops. Am I missing a table that I should be doing something with? And how long should I wait to go make another log after making changes? I ask because if I come home after making a run and make some changes, load them and go to make another run the IAT's are much higher because of heat soak and the AFR stays lean(refer to second log). My guess is that because the air is hot it's evaporating the fuel too quickly. Or am I just an idiot. The outside air temp was around 86 the whole time.
I am a novice tuner at best but understand how most things work, but I could really use some insight. The tune that was previously in the car was not a good one at all(guess that's what you get for ordering one). Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Pat

I don't have much input... Look up how to adjust the Cylinder Charge Temp Bias.

Always reset your fuel trims when you start scanning. Your LTFT's are currently pulling -1.6% which isn't much, but it's better if it's at zero while your making adjustments.

I'm pretty sure that I have the LTFT's disabled, so they shouldn't affect it. But I guess they still could. So I need to reset them every time? I think I'm starting to understand what could be causing it but I'm still working on it. Thank you for your input.

As long as the LTFT's are disabled, you should only have to reset them once. Now if you re-enable your STFT's, you'll have to reset them every time.
