Ok so I go in a customers rig. He just bought it at auction. They seemed to think it was a great Idea to pull what ever they had in it out before the Auction.
Truck has straight pipe off the turbo to 5in all the way back. I went in and turned off all the codes I could find<from a thread above, andI do NOT Have any codes but the DIC still says "Clean Exhaust Filter". I drove it for 60 miles today and no change.
Anyone having a problem with the DIC stuck with the "Clean Exhaust Filter" message?

I'd say someone programmed the vehicle back to stock before it hit the lot...or they didn't know how to shut down the DPFE system.

does it have a dpf still installed? If not, that's probably the problem
