a friend of mine is having lock up issues with his 2002 trans am. just installed a 3200 circle d converter and trying to find out what is causing it to randomly unlock when it should stay locked.
I know misfire can cause this and there is a pid that will show if its misfire but what pid is it?

This one looks like it has every thing I should need. Will this one show if the trans has any slip to it?
What all should be logged to diagnose and issue with torque converter lock up? Can part throttle shift points cause an issue with the lock up?
