    MAF VS MAFLESS - Opinions

I hate tuning MAF on automatics, it messes with the shift points, they get dirty over time and messes with the trims etc.

How do I turn off the MAF completely in a Gen4 6.0ltr V8?

I have looked at the 'Effective Area' Max Fail etc.

Help no matter what I do the maf still shows readings on the scanner which I assume means the computer is probably still reading the maf.

I cant just pull it out becaues the IAT sensor is apart of it.....

    ....... help

I have never had a MAF impact shift points. Must be some strong stuff you're smoking in Brisbane.

If you want to disable it, set the fail frequency to 0 and set P0101, P0102, and P0103 to MIL on first error (uncheck SES enable).

The MAF is a very efficient device. You should keep it and tune it, it will save you a lot of tuning work.

Never had a problem running MAF only or the way GM intended to run.
