Really dumb question, 08 Sierra Denali

Almost hesitant to ask this, but after an hour searching, I'm still at a loss.

I have an 08 SD. I was going to read the tune and start leaning how to tweak this six speed. I did an entire read from the truck. I pull up the transmission tab to take a peak at it, but all I have under the "auto shift properties" tab, is the general tab. Nothing else. What did I do wrong??

I will answer my own dumb question, as I figured out what happened. And who knows, maybe someone else might have this same thing happen to them.....

So apparently, when I did the initial read on the truck, I had the key in the run position. Half way through the read, the doors locked on me, and something happened to interrupt the read to where communications was lost during the TCM part of the read. I had to then disconnect the neg bat cable to get communication to the TCM again. I tried to read the ECM once again with the key in the acc position, but still no go. I tried to read the ECM again a day later, key in the acc position, and it read the entire ECM and TCM. Communication to the TCM was once again lost, but for some reason or other, I was able to read the TCM this time. I had to disconnect the neg bat cable to get comms to the TCM again. Not sure why I am having this issue, but at least I have the entire tune file to look at and adjust as needed.

I've experience the same thing with almost 6 speed I've tuned. Try to read it, fail. Disconnect the battery cable and them re read it and it works. But then when I flash the first changes, i lose tcm communications, undo the battery cable again and then all is fine. Strange issue that seems to be on HPT's part.
