I HAVE A 2000 CAMARO SS WITH A LS1 5.7L ENGINE

I HAVE A DTC THAT IS CAUSED BY THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER EFFICIENCY

P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

I WANT TO LOWER THE EFFICIENCY THRESHOLD SO IT DOESN’T TRIP SO EASY

IT WILL RUN FOR A DAY OR SO AND THEN CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON

I CHANGED MY CATS TO MAGNAFLOWS 2X, ONLY A YEAR OLD NOW

IT SEEMS TO BE JUST ON THE EDGE OF THE THRESHOLD

I READ THAT AFTERMARKET CATS (THESE WERE DIRECT FITS) TEND TO CAUSE PROBLEMS

I MAY GO BACK TO AC DELCO (500.00 EACH)

IS THIS A BAD IDEA, CAUSE IT TO RUN TO RICH OR LEAN

ALSO CAN THE SOFTWARE TELL IF THERE IS ANOTHER BAD SENSOR IN THE SYSTEM
