Would Like My Misfire Detection Back

I'm chasing down an engine miss. I'm running the 2.5 bar SD OS and misfire detection is not available. Is it the custom OS that is disabling it or is it just the fact that its running in speed density?

I ran a cylinder balance test which came out all cylinders 99%-100% which is BS because I can feel the miss. I have been pulling plugs and believe I have it narrowed down to one cylinder and I've swapped plugs/wires/coils and injectors and it seems to follow the injector so I'm sending them off to be checked out but I would really like to be able to see the miss on the scanner.

I just did an enhanced OS on an E40 and still could read misfires per cylinder. What are you missing?

Trying really hard not to make a FIC comment, lol.

Not sure what I'm missing but all the misfire counters are zero and I'm sure thats incorrect and it was my understanding that misfires were disabled either when running in SD even with a normal OS or with the custom OS, not sure which.

Yea I thought you would have a hard time with that. Stay strong. I'm not sure it's the injectors yet anyhow.

Well I found that I was idling at 35# of fuel pressure due to a leaky hose in the bucket. I don't think even ID's would work well at 35#. :P

You'd be surprised. I've had them at 30psi and they still worked. Lol.

FYI: Enabling the MAF got my misfire detection back. So it's not the custom OS that prevents it, just SD.

And #4 is misfiring like a champ! Actually threw a P0300 today (misfires detected). This is what I wanted because I really wasn't looking at #4 until now.

Can't remember yor advice, gasoline and matches?

Donno yet. Will swap coil packs and wires left to right and then injectors to see if it follows either. #2 is the one getting all the oil on it and it actually has the least misfires.
