I have PE set for 12.7:1 af ratio and 24 degrees at WOT. Does this sound good for max power on a cam/ bolt-on LS7? I know for a stock engine this is about right, just not sure exactly how a cam is going to affect how much timing it likes.

The LS7s typically like to run a little richer than that. I tune them to around 12.4-12.5:1. Your timing is about right.

Thanks for the advice. This customer wants a quarter mile tune and a top speed/ road race tune, so I'm going to set it up for about 12.0/11.8 for the road race tune and 12.5 for the quarter
BTW, that stalling issue was the Maf, turns out his intake setup was giving us funky readings, wish I could run only ve down low and only Maf up top. We're going to try a Maf straightener. I'll post a pic of the intake when I get a chance
