    Injector pulse width question.

My car is running great this is just a question I have for my own curiosity.

If my short pulse limit is set at 3.00, and my Min Injector Pulse is set a 0.125 I am wondering why I see injector pulse widths of under 1 at idle in my scans.

    Thanks

Short pulse limit simply defines the threshold underneath which the short pulse time adder will be applied. You can still have a final PW much shorter than this. It just depends upon the desired fuel mass, flow rate, offset, and short pulse adder.

Understood. thank you for the clear explanation. So then if I show a pulse width at idle of .08 area, this is nothing out of the ordinary ?

PS... your books are great... helped me learn a lot.
