    Change OS?

    Hello,

i ahve made some changes onmy car with HP tuners ans ecerything was ok.
No i went to a tune shop becaues i was thingking he can do a better tune then me.
after i came back the car was running much worse then before....
The shop is far away so I want to change to my old tune.
Wen I tried to flash I git the message that the Os is changed.
    Should i make write entire?
Before is made just write calibration only.
I heard that when i write entire it is possible that the ECU ist damaged.
    Is this true?
    My OS is 1250216
and the one that is now on the car is 12617631
Does anyone know the changes and cani use also the new OS without buing new credits?

    Kind regards

    Markus

If your file came from that PCM, it's safe to do a write-entire.
I have done write-entires countless times and never damaged a PCM. The risk is higher than write-cal-only, but it's safe if you use with caution (good battery charge, full laptop battery charge, good cables and connections).

If they changed OS the VCM ID was also changed for sure, so you'll need more credits even if you write your old tune.
If it's working as bad as you say, you may want to send the PCM to the tuning shop to be flashed with your old tune, then ask for a refund.
