    Question Scanner Gauge Config and Scale

    So I want to add a Lambda Gauge to my scanner just like a Wideband AFR Gauge. I had previously set up my AEM in AFR, so I am just tweaking that config to display Lambda now since I have converted over. My lambda gauge is graduated from .75 to 1.15 with nine major ticks and two minor ticks between the majors. The problem is, it looks like the gauge display will only use whole numbers. Is there a way around this? What are others doing as I am sure I am not the first to try this?

    Add a decimal to what?

    Units are: lambda
    Decimals: 2
    Limits
    Max: 1.15
    Min: .75
    All in the images above.

    So I tried adding another decimal as suggested, but all this does is exactly that, in my digital reading I now have three decimals. Changed back to two.

    Still looking for a solution.

    try these

    Change;

    Decimals: 2

    Limits:
    Max. - 2
    Min. - 0

    Major Ticks;
    Count - 3
    Factor - 0

    Minor Ticks;
    Count - 10

    Remove check from "Draw Min."

    ^That config just creates this;

    Bill, you have any ideas on this or should I submit it to support and or report a bug? The scale I am trying to produce would be the same as the below on the right.

    No decimals

    If you want a more visually usable gauge instead of using the table display, you could use your present mph gauge (larger) for lambda and increase the minor ticks to 50 or 100 as the limits do not take decimals.

    The major problem here is that a guage dispaly, or even for that matter a bar display, is not allowed to have decimals for markers. The way that I have it defined, it does work, just the scale is incorrect. If you know where the values are, such as in the AEM displayed, you can tell where it is at based on remembering what the AEM display looks like.

    if its just to view on gauge why not use 75 - 115 and convert the dec to non decimal

    I think its possible

    That makes your low value 75 and your high value 115, so the needle will be stuck down at 75 all of the time. Already tried that.

    True, and I have not yet set up a custom gauge, however, when you set up custom lamda function, could you not just times the value by 100?

    Again I have never done it so not sure if where it could be done.
