    Where to purchase E67 ECM?

    Hello,

I am new to tuning, and would like to purchase an additional ECM (E67) to practice tuning on, but haven't found where to purchase one. Anyone have any suggestions? I would like to keep my existing ECM as is--in case I mess up, I can go back to it. If I understand this process correctly, I could "copy" my existing tune and transfer to an additional ECM as a starting point, and then data log and retune the spare ECM.

Amazon.com maybe, we just got a hybrid E67 from there.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Thanks, tried Amazon.com and found it!

It is $222--not sure if that is good or not, but I am looking at it as (relatively) cheap insurance. i.e. if I have trouble getting the tune right, I can always go back to what I had (the GMPP controller package). What i have now isn't bad, but there is probably room for improvement.

I'm pretty sure I've got a couple. Could probably beat that price at least by 10%, if you haven't already bought it.

Thank you, I may take you up on that. I haven't bought anything yet. I am doing "research" at this point...I also still need to get the software, wideband O2 sensor, and even a laptop computer.

Try looking on www.car-part.com too, you might find some salvage yards locally with E67 vehicles.
