    55 belair

    I am trying to finish up the install I am doing on a 55 belair with a 05 4.8 in it. I need to make sure I change a couple things in the computer. I know were and how to just turn the vats off but what about the rear 02 sensors. I also am going to try to start it hopefully this weekend but will not have mass air flow sensor or air intake so I need to turn of the mass air flow sensor. Looking for some help to make sure that is not what is holding me up from being able to get it to start. The ecm is factory for this 05 4.8.

    go to engine diagnostics--dtc's and look for o2-sensor 2 codes,change to "no error reported".the o2's wont keep it from starting. for maf,engine diagnostics,airflow--change maf fail to zero.

    Okay I have went in and shut of the vats and also shut of the pnp module to try that and I have tried several times and the car will not start need help. There is three options in securtiy under vats and there is three options under prndl equip. I am not sure what is going on or what did I forget to disable or change.

    Well I may have it figured out I had injectors that I believe are clogged I am soaking them over night and hopefully will start in the morning.

    hard to believe that all 8 injectors clogged. hook up scanner and make sure you get a crank sensor and cam sensor signal while cranking.

    I could not believe it neither but went ahead and pulled them and hooked 9 volt to them and only one injector is opening. So I have 7 that do not click with 9 volt. I had them soaking in sea foam all night and I even hooked compressor to end with 20 psi and tried to send power to it and only the one opens the rest don't. I have no Idea how to get them unstuck with out sending them out to have them done for that price I can problably buy new ones on ebay.

    Also last night I noticed the tps is showing 18% open any ideas why it would do this it is dbw. Or is there something I need to change in hp.

    Well got new injectors from fuel injector connection today and it started right up.
