    E38/T42, 60E trans, no ISS

    does turning all the ISS stuff off work or something else must be done?

    I ran into this on a swap I did here, couldn't find a work around even though people had hinted at it existing, I ended up sourcing all the ISS hard parts and installing them to keep the Car happy.

    Saw someone suggest using the VSS then changing the settings to match for another car that didn't have the ISS, in hindsight I think this may have worked for me but seeing as I had the Trans out and was able to source the correct parts I went that way.

    I have done 4l60>4l80 in 07-later vehicles that are T42s. With a special harness we run the 80 and the ISS's DTC have to be turned off. Unfortunately, though it must be done to run the 80 with the 60 segment, it is not supported currently by HPTuner's.
