Forced open loop, now traction control dtc?

    08 C6Z

When I failed the MAF for VE tuning yesterday, I got two errors. 1) service electrical system 2) service traction control

When I put the tune back to normal configuration, I reset the dtc's. Service electrical system is gone, but the traction control error is still in.

I'm assuming the TC error came in when I failed the MAF, but maybe not? Is this common, and what can I do to clear the error?

Correct, common and is the main reason for the TCS patches under the OS window.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

OK, I found the tab and patches. Do you have a write up how to use them somewhere?? The part about "re-write entire OS" has me nervous.

    Never mind....

I have probably read more than a dozen tuning guides and not one of them mention that TC is disabled when the MAF fails. None mention to use these patches or that you have to re-flash 'entire' when re-enabling the MAF.
