why would cylinder volume be changed in this tune?

My car is an 06 gto m6, stock 6.0l bottom end, trick flow genx package 225 heads and 238/242 .595/.595 112 lsa.....i bought the car and it had already been tuned once, but what would be the benefit of making the cylinder volume smaller than the standard .75 for a 6.0l. thanks

That's the way the LS2 GTO tunes came from the OEM - check a few original LS2 GTO tunes - these will have the same value.

Yeah GM fucked up from the factory.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't cylinder volume built in to the GMVE values? Making the cylinder volume field inconsequential?

In raw units you are correct.

Its the reason WHY they are in raw units on E40 pcm's because of their screw up it would have made a clusterf if we had tried to represent them in % like on LS1's.
