Lean AFR even if i max PE, need upgrade my 60 inj ? or upgrade fuel system ?

    My car :
    stock 2000 LS1 FI - Vortech V3 Si Trim & 3.4" pulley - on E85
    60 injectors
    255lbs legenfilter fuel pump
Have change stocio from 14.7 to 10.06

Look at my number on drag strip - 1# run, full logging :
Time.... - Gear - TPS - %INJ Duty - RPM. -WB AFR- PE in tune

Average WB AFR in 5400-5799 range for the all run in 100 TPS : 12.62 (1.510@5600)
Average WB AFR in 5800-6199 range for the all run in 100 TPS : 13.09 (2.156@6000)

I wanted hit 12.1 AFR, i have change PE for the #2 run :

Average WB AFR in 5400-5799 range for the all run in 100 TPS : 13.00 (1.547@5600)
Average WB AFR in 5800-6199 range for the all run in 100 TPS : 14.65 (2.246@6000)
note : very lean afr on this run !

I always wanted hit 12.1 AFR, i have again change PE for the #3 run :

Average WB AFR in 5400-5799 range for the all run in 100 TPS : 12.67 (1.607@5600)
Average WB AFR in 5800-6199 range for the all run in 100 TPS : 12.62 (2.449@6000)

I have change PE for the last run of the weekend :

Average WB AFR in 5400-5799 range for the all run in 100 TPS : 12.7 (1.681@5600)
Average WB AFR in 5800-6199 range for the all run in 100 TPS : 13.8 (2.557@6000)

No other run for this weekend

First, i dont anderstand how hptuner calc %INJ Duty only with msec INJ. Pulse Width Avg on Bank ??? (stock i'm with 26lbs, with A&A kit i'm with 60lbs, but HPT scanner dont know this !)

Second, i cant be able to min my 12.62 afr for 5400-5799rmp range, 12.62 with 1.51 PE... and 12.7 with 1.681 PE, look like i need change 60 injectors for bigger, or need upgrade fuel system (remember, it's a 2000 corvette, i have just put 255lbs legenfilter fuel pomp), or stop use E85 ! ???

What do you think about that ?

Think i need upgrade by install a boost a pump (as the Kenne Bell 20 Amp. BAP)?
Or upgrade by install FAST LS1 fuel rail set ?
    Or other ?

If your fuel pressure is holding in the high rpm range then you need bigger injectors. If it is dropping then you need more fuel pump. I'm gonna hazard a guess and say you will need injectors and pump because E85 requires almost 30% more fuel then straight gas.

    In fact, i was thinking that i have 60lbs injectors... but they are 60lbs Ã* 43.5psi, and LS1 use 58psi, so it's like 80lbs !

And using 80lbs injector on E85 is like 61lbs without E85

I know now that IDC is only calc with the time of injection in msec, so, IDC is real !

I really not understand why i can having 178%IDC with 61lbs injector on almost 500RWHP ???

Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see what the pressure does when you go WOT through a couple gears. If it drops then you need more pump. My single 255lph walbro can barely supply my 8psi boosted LS1 on gas so add 30% more required fuel you have to be out of pump by now.

I maxed out 60's with 10psi on a mild 5.3/70mm turbo. Went to 96 lb/hr injectors, and I think my 340 lph fuel pump starts to fall off around 12psi on straight E85.

Go with dual pumps or add a second boost activated pump like I plan to do. Then for the injectors, skip 80's and go straight to 96's or more. I have the 96's from FIC and they're working great.

I think the injectors are too small. If it was a fuel delivery problem, the AFR would be much leaner and would keep creeping
Hook a fuel pressure gauge and test under wot, if pressure holds then you need bigger injectors

I will try to find a fuel gauge and test.

for every pound of boost you put in your reducing the amount of fuel you can deliver with the stock rails

consider a return style fuel system and rising rate fuel regulator

A lots of good news, and just one who isnt.

I have test fuel pressure : no lost.
I have buy 1000cc injector, but not receive before the last drag race, so, simulate E30 (mix E85 and normal fuel).
Good afr with E30 (hitting 12 afr and less until 6000rpm and a little more).
IDC be raisonnable, have see 104% just one time, but always with good afr.
Receive 1000cc injectors and put it yesterday.
Everything is ok now : I hit 10.72 afr at 6080rpm with just 70% idc on E85.
    Ready for next upgrade
