Tuner in Training
2007 colorado 3.7
looking for a good tune to start with. wanting max horse power with no damage and firmer shifts. have k&n cai, borla cat back, and jet tb spacer. any help would be great.
-
remove some torque management
tune the transmission tables
tune the airflow and timing tables
and there you go!
it's better if you have specific questions, there is a LOT to tuning a vehicle properly. if you need to know how, there are a lot of books and stuff to read.
there are tutuorials online that tell you what to do but even that is a lot different vs actually knowing what each change does inside your engine.

There's no way to tell. You have to use the scanner to measure and then adjust according to what your vehicle needs. This is not a Hypertech programmer, this is software that can custom tune each table in your ECU individually depending on your vehicle's specific needs. This is calibration software (stolen from G. Banish), not a plug and play adjust it up or down toy. It is impossible to tell you what you need over the internet.
Start by reading Engine Management - Advanced Tuning by Greg Banish. It will give you a leg to stand on, then you have to learn from there. Read these forums carefully and pick up the lingo and the technical aspects, compare what people are talking about to the tables you see in your program and learn what up or down means on each one.
