    p0717 in 6L80

    Installed a built trans and tune and am getting P0717 DTC. This is in a 2008 G8GT. Installed a C-D 2800 stall at the same time. Any ideas?

    Anybody?

    Also getting P0777 but Not at same time as p0717. I don't get them at the same time. I'll get P0717 and it puts me in Limp-home mode. If I clear it and try again I get P0717 or sometimes P0777, never both and I've now figured out the circumstances that cause one over the other.

    717 is input speed sensor, 777 is a stuck solenoid. Maybe your builder slipped up on reconnecting these?

    Just to close the loop. We dropped the pan and pulled the valve body. The ISS is mounted on top of it. We replaced it and all is well. No more codes.
