Quick LS2 OLSD tuning setup question...

"Open Loop EQ Ratio Gas (Gear): This table is used to determine the commanded open loop equivalence ratio when running on gasoline and the transmission is in gear.
Open Loop EQ Ratio Gas (P/N): This table is used to determine the commanded open loop equivalence ratio when running on gasoline and the transmission is in park or neutral."

Both of these tables are set to 10 in the stock tune(and in my current tune). Tuning guides tell you to set these tables to 1.

What will happen to my AFR in WOT and non-WOT open loop if I change these tables from 10 to 1 without changing anything else, i.e. how do they factor in to the PE EQ ratio?

And do these tables factor in differently when in Closed loop than they do when in OLSD?

    Tuning with a LC1...
CURRENT SETUP: 2001 M6 WS6 228/236 112+3 XER lobes, P1SC/Aster/8lbs, Weiand intake, Long tubes, SD 60 lb inj, Lonnie's dual fuel pumps, HPtuners Pro---No #'s

    OLD SETUP: 2006 M6 GTO 236/238 113+3, FAST 102, TEA TFS 225s, Kooks, Wretched H-Pipe, Flowmaster Super 40s---484 rwhp/439 rwtq

it's gonna help forcing the car to switch to Open loop and stop adding or taking fuel you don't want any thing to effect your actual AFR reading.

about the WOT question these tables only gonna effect on the drivability if the car not tuned well by your wideband

to switch it to open loop follow this
-Gas (gear) = 1.00 from 90F and up
    -Gas (p/n) = 1.00 from 90F and up
-AIR Gain (Gear) = 1.00 the entire table
-AIR Gain (p/n) = 1.00 the entire table
-ECT vs. start up ECT = max it out
-LTFT enable tables the MIN = max value
    the MAX table = -40

after doing this crank the car and start logging you will see your Fuel Trims are zeroed .

Hope that i answered your question

BTW your Startup Airflow is way to high ...

    Thanks man.

I know my start up airflow is totally funky but it starts like stock every time. It stumbles with any changes made to it.

Also, do I put the gas tables back to 10 when I'm back in closed loop? I know the other tables absolutely have to go back to their previous values in order for CL to function...

And I've done some VE and lo MAF tuning without changing the gas tables to 1. I'm interested to see what my results will be now.
