    880/900 Dyno Log

I crashed the dyno competition of a neat Mustang event http://www.svtvstheworld.com/ last night at http://autoadrenalineperformance.com/. Nice bunch of guys and they were able to squeeze me in. It did pretty much what I expected. First pull was on 18#, second run I guessed on the EBoost shooting for 20# but only got 19# and it was pretty fat, like low 10:1's. Only had two pulls so had to stop there. No tune changes were made at all. Peak TQ just after 4500 and HP noses over above 6k which I would attribute to the 2.5" downpipes. I would have liked to see 900/900 but it'll just take another pound or two of boost. In any case it was enough to be king of the event.

    I'm #6

I found out later that night the I would have had $100 coming to me if there had been enough (three) entries in the turbo class. Oh well.

    851/878 on 18#, 879/899 on 19#

Attached are the log of the 19# pull and the tune as well as the config and vcm scanner file. Not sure you will be able to see the AFR/AFR Error without it.

Setup is 408 iron block with 317 heads @ 10.2:1, 231/329 614/621 on 118+2, TTIX base kit w/ 57mm turbos, Alky Control dual nozzle meth, FIC 1k injectors, no cats, Corsa Sports.

It pegs the dynamic airflow but that doesnt stop the SD from doing its job. Maybe if I logged VE airflow it wouldnt max out?

Thanks. I like how the tq looks but not how power drops off before 6k. Its either the turbos or 2.5" downpipes.

What do your airflow numbers look like when it noses over? Timing? A/F?

Airflow continues to climb. AFR on 19# was fat, mid to low 10's. 14 degrees.

20 bucks says you are at the limit of the turbos, but hey, 450whp from each turbo isn't bad for 57mm wheels.

time for some gt35's or 6262's should be good for 1200whp

I think thats the case. Its got a little more in it, I think I can get better peak numbers but it will continue to nose over. No upgrades planned in the near future.

If it's running out of airflow, you can tune it to climb instead of nosing over. Ramp the fuel out, and the timing in. It'll climb.

I guess but ramping in timing and ramping out fuel (leaner than low 11's) is not what I want to be doing at 6000 RPM and ~20# of boost.

Don't be skeered. You're way past peak torque, and peak cyl pressure.
