I have done it with good results, they have the same PCM
However, it may not work 100% of the time. The flash procedure may corrupt the PCM and be unusable, you'll be unable to flash it again.
What I have found is that newer OS'es tend to work ok on older hardware, but not the other way around.
The best way is to copy all parameters from the 2005 file to the 2003 file and flash it.
Why do you want to do that?
i think 03 is a return fuel system and 05 is not.
