Thread: Rolling Idle ?

    Rolling Idle ?

    Quick question if anyone knows.
What else controls rolling idle other than the rolling idle table?
    I did a 6.0 conversion from a 2002 Cady escalade (DBW) into a 91 k5 blazer.
Everything is basically stock other than it now has no cats and the trans don't have a PRNDL switch. It idles Great until you start to roll then it drops to like 350 rpm. It don't die but it feels like it wants to. You stop rolling and the idle jumps right back up to 550 and holds smooth. The factory tune had all 0's for rolling idle so I put them all at 550 but it had no effect. I will have it back in the morning to play with and looking for some ideas.

    Thanks

    Thanks Printman.
The truck was dropped off tonight so I will dig into it in the morning.

This one was a simple fix once I started looking. The Throttle cracker enable was set at 2 mph. Raised it to 10 mph & problem solved.
