Hi to everyone who views this, i'm new on the Forum but have been tuning cars for a few years now, my old man is a Mechanic who has his own workshop and a Dyno so it's pretty handy for me.
My current Issue is that i have just fitted a new set of 42lb VCM Performance injectors to my Monaro which has an LS1 Stroked to 383, the full specs are in my signature, now the boys at VCM said all i had to change was my IFR table which is common sense when fitting a bigger injector, with the standard injectors i had my VE spot on besides trying to compensate a bit in the top end to keep the AFR's right, now at idle it's showing lean but as soon as you drop it into drive it richens right up, now apparently these injectors were desinged for the L98 but i was told they would work fine in a LS1, i also have a VE SS Ute with an L98 and i was going through the tune in that and the injector offset in them works off vacuum or map not a voltage offset like the LS1 does so i am assuming it needs more than just an IFR change, the L98 has offset vs volts vs map table zero'd out but the LS1 has a range of different offsets, i have never adjusted these tables before and would like a bit more info before i do, and yes i have tried Greg Banish's Injector calculator and it made no difference, i will attach the Tune and a Log if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Paul
