    06 TBSS STOCK w/CAI only

So after spending a lot of time tuning my other car (WS6), I went and bought a CAI for my bone stock 2WD TBSS. As sad as this sounds, I have no idea where to start for just doing a CAI on the truck. Do I need to go in and tune the VE table and the MAF table? Do I have to do a complete tune like I did with all of the mods on my WS6? I was so use to changing a ton on the car to get it right, that I dont know what to do with something as simple as putting a CAI on my truck... If anyone out there has a good file to at least get me to work in the morning and maybe just get the MAF right it would be a huge help, cause I didn't realize that on this LS2 a CAI would lean it out like it did.
    Thank you for your help

TBSS will generally go lean with the addition of a CAI - very common result. Just rework the MAF values, no need to touch the VE.

Ok so been driving it around now for a little while and got the LTFT looking pretty good on average with the temp at 70ish, but still getting some crazy knock from time to time and it is pulling timing way out to almost -4degrees. Please take a look at this and see if you can figure out what the hell is going on, it will show up just cruising down the road. Whats up with the little hits and some of the real big hits of knock 6Degrees. On WOT im getting no knock at all, just middle and lower RPM's. Attached is the tune and log, was running 2 histos, one with LTFT vs. MAF Low and other vs. MAF high. oh and it looks like my TPS is shot, wont go above 86% or below 25%, any ideas on that too?

I have not seen any knock till now with adding nothing more then a CAI. What is in the "how to" section gonna do. I don't see any reason I should be seeing 6 degrees of knock in some spots or 1 degree while cruising with no pedal change.

I have been using LTFT's, most are within 2% and where I'm getting knock they are on

That's not the proper way to calibrate your MAF for WOT fueling.

Try disabling burst knock retard to see if your knock goes away. Fairly certain you can also log for burst knock to see if that is what is pulling timing.

I'm not getting knock under wot, I'm getting it else where, I have my WB but don't have and extra bung welded in right now, I know I should use it for wot tuning but for cruising the LTFT should be good.

Yes lots of ideas. Like overly sensitive knock sensors. Burst Knock Retard being enabled. MAF curve doesn't look right, etc. Tune needs some work.
