Boost Control Solenoid OFF/ON Issue
Hi All:
my boost control solenoid keeps changing from off to on in the PCM side when the car is idling in park. Basically goes from 99 to 0 on the scanner constantly. I have switched out the boost control solenoid and the vacuum diaphram and it still reads it so I'm thinking it's in the PCM.
Anyone have any thoughts on what could the issue be? Is there other inputs that will send signals to the PCM to control the Boost Control Solenoid? And can I and should I just shut it off at the PCM? It's driving me crazy!

no one must not know any thing about what can effect the boost control solenoid
i thought i would of had some type of an answer by now

Got it figured out. The MAP sensor had a vacuum block. Thanks for looking.
