    eforce corvette tuning newbie question

On a 2006 Corvette with a eforce supercharger with the tune that came with the eforce kit, is it possible to read that tune and modify it with HP tuners?

Weird. The last E-Force car I did wouldn't open because of a checksum error. I had to overwrite with a stock file.

at least that "2012 Cammy LS3 580hp kit" file has the correct Cylinder Charge Temp values for an IAT sensor located inside the intake manifold... similar to a ZR1 or ZL1. Is the Eforce IAT inside the manifold like the rest of these top mount blowers?

My Whipple tune used stock values which are setup for an IAT sensor 2-3 feet away, in the MAF sensor, next to the air cleaner. I changed them, but didnt see a big difference. But still.

Speaking of IAT's, how are the Edlebrock IAT readings? My whipple IAT's were consistently 15F low compared to coolant temp and ambient air temp on radio after letting the car sit in my garage for 2-3 days.... at 75F, 40F, etc.. Always 15F low, and not starting it. So while driving normally IAT's would read only 15F above ambient air temp... when actually it's 30F over ambient.

Late back to the party, but not as bad as I had previously seen. Still pretty rich PE and MAF only. But like you said, have seen worse. They all can use a bit of massaging but they have to be on the very safe side for sure. We don't ever use them though. Start with a stock file and build a new one including VE.

    2008 c6 with edelbrock 1591 supercharger kit

I also have a 2008 corvette c6 with the edelbrock supercharger kit. Did the install myself, don't trust just any ase certified mechanic. It came with the sct 3416e2 handheld programmer. I wanted to make some changes to the tune, called sct it is tuner locked. But interestingly they said that the tune does an engine mod for the supercharger, the transmission Tcm is untouched. I guess that's why it shifts way to soon for me. I wanted to access some of those parameters and there is also a flat spot with 20% throttle between low speed shifts. Anyone have some similar issues. I'm a mechanic with 30yrs experience fixing lots of cars and with pretty good experience working on c5 and c6 vettes. Has anyone gotten a tune with a tuning shop that you could give me for a starting point, and later mod to what I need. Thx for reading.

Do you have HPtuners, or just your SCT device? Where did you buy the kit?

I'm running 08 C6 A6 Eforce 599 Kit, the stock Edelbrock tune is rich, there is a lot to be gained from HP uners, also if you have an A6 then modifying the transmission will help immensely.

PM me if you want a copy of my tune (before I put in the ZR1 cam) for comparison
