    Commanded Afr changing during log

My tune is a work in progress. Steep learning curve. My question is should the commanded afr value change by itself while logging? It seems like a moving target to try and hit. The only way i was able to get it hold steady was to force 14.7 using the vcm controls.

Looks like you are running in open loop and the commanded A/F is changing with the change in MAP value like in the Open Loop A/F vs Coolant Temp vs MAP table.

I am in fact forcing open using vcm controls. Is it normal for the commanded afr to move around like that in those conditions?

Yes it is normal unless you set that table "Open Loop F/A vs. Coolant Temp vs. MAP to all 1.00s. This is a modifier that acts on fueling during OL operation. IF you set it to all 1.00s it will be commanding whatever you set your stoich value at.
