But cobaltssoverbooster is right... I would only want this if its safe. If it causes valvetrain damage then its no good. im excited for good news from this!
I got a tune ready just drivin it to verify if it makes harsh shifts.
Eric u need to get ur codes gone first lol

Edit I'll add a video tonight it turned out quiet though cause of the Hahn muffler.

matt is using something else most likely along the lines of a piggyback with the cam phaser codes turned off to prevent cel light for no reason.
i used hpt and its looking promising but we all know its not over till the outcome has results.

Bummer....well just as I was expecting the car throws a misfire code for every cylinder. Rapid acceleration and sudden deceleration of the crank cause the light to turn on.

Eh, just turn those codes off then haha... Are you saying the adjustments to the cams to make lope are causing the rapid accel/decel and codes or did you do something radical to make the lope? Could changing the idle speed help at all?

well if you shut the codes off you will disable cruise control because ive done that before for another reason. and im trying to do this without causing a mil light because i would like to keep those codes active since they are kida sorta very important.

Edit: added the newest excell program. since the cobalts are causing overlap by the cam shift then this is what we are getting. negative would be seperation and positive is overlap.

So I finally have my car back and got time to tune again.

What is the final verdict on the max and min values that work in the intak and exhaust tables?

    Is it:

    Intake Max: +10
    Intake Min: -40

    Exhaust Max: +44
    Exhaust Min: -6

So most overlap is Intake -40 and Exhaust +44?

In what situation would you want to command that much overlap though?

Got this to work on my LAP 2.2

I have different cam tables than you LNF guys.

I was able to just edit the "idle" part in the cam table. Soon as the car gets off idle it corrects to stock.
