Yup sounds about right on the money. I'm at 627rwhp, LS9 injectors, 72psi rail pressure, and 88%INJDC.

We were gonna get the id1000's because if we build a shortblock stroker, and add more boost, we dont want to spend 2000 on injectors, and figured buy once, and do it right the first time. No?!?
    Thanks,

    Dustin

FYI, 1000s won't fit the Whipple kit. Too big. You have to use 850s or 2000s.

If you need more injector than the 850 requires you might as well go to a 16 injector setup and Alien Intake from Tom Nelson and a different ECU. Lol.

Good thought, but with a whipple 2.9 sitting on top, cant quite change the manifold so hopefully it doesnt do this to the new injectors
    Thanks,

Steck I love injector Dynamics, but the way Nelson has it panned out in his Alien Manifold it's just spectacular, and efficient.

I can't imagine that's more cost effective let alone worth it aside from flare

When you get a product like that it's worth every penny. Not to mention having the fuel pressure regulator built in to the back of the manifold is pretty trick as well.

All of the injector bodies are built towards the inside of the housing so you can't see that mess of wires, and also the secondary set is supposed to be devoted for what's called Octane on Demand. They're supposed to mix race gas, alcohol, nitro methane, or whatever else you want added into your fuel for high performance applications. That way you can street drive your 1,500+ horsepower car. Oh joy!

Learn that there are other products that are just as cool as your injectors, bud.

No OBD-II = not street car

Either way, needing more injector than 850s will provide doesn't warrant a custom intake manifold, a second set of injectors, and a standalone.

Lol, no, tell that to Rex here in town that has his all mighty 1500+rwhp Supra. He feels as if the car is totally street even though it runs on a 70/30 mix of 116+93. *Chuckle*

We have differentiating opinions, but eh, that's what makes the world go round'.
