Max the Power!!!!!

So we have read and re-read all the stickies as well any guides that we have found. But none of them can prove that they can provide the max power for an LS2. They all basically say the same take off the torque management, tune your idle, do the WB configuration on your engine, but none can actually proof a change of their configuration. The only way is to test out the configuration and your on your way to see if there's a difference...

The question here is how many of you actually followed them to a T and seen some gains on your LS2 engine? If so then lets see those guides in one location, such as this thread...

Do some research on what other people have found for timing/air fuel combinations. There is no secret formula because every engine and combination is different.

You also need to understand that tuning is about data gathering, hypothesizing, calculating, testing....repeat.

Tuning is also about recalibrating the ECU for the additions that where made to the engine to increase it's power output. You're making the parts work, if your calibration is correct and your power output is low then you have a mechanical problem.

if you finished everything and you are seeking for dyno power
make your AFR 13.0 for N/A cars
add few degrees of timing ,, and have a New hp

lets say you have a stock ls2 400bhp...with no other modification i cant see any thing els anybody can do to increase the horse power ( beside leaning the AFR and Adding timming)
you will end up between 15-25 MAX HP optimistically..

as member HOP said you retune to get the NEW mods work together ..different mod require different approach...

I'd say 10-15 hp max from a stock one, not 15-25

as a stock LS2 you will be lucky to see 400 RWHP on dyno
unless its cammed

agree with that you would be very lucky to get more( thats why i said optimistically.. )
